
Anne Duguël‚ with the pseudonym Gudule‚ was born in 1945 in Brussels (Belgium). At a very early age‚ she showed great imagination abilities‚ with a love for strange and irrational. She studied Art and decoration‚ and lived in Lebanon from 1965 to 1970 where she worked as a costume designer‚ as well as a journalist for the daily newspaper "Le Jour"‚ and the weekly "Magazine". Afterwards Gudule went to France‚ and worked in the media and for a radio program. In 1987 she published her first books for young adults. Since then she has written and published over 300 books for teens and for adults‚ translated all over the world. The author equally writes scripts for comic strips. Gudule has won several literary awards. She currently lives in the south of France.
