He was born in Ixelles (Belgium) in 1968. He studied illustration at La Cambre. His first children’s book (Blanchette the spotless cow) was published while he was still a student. This was soon followed by a dozen other titles for several publishing houses (Nathan‚ Bayard‚ Hachette‚Artis…) exhibitions‚ posters for the Brussels book fair‚ illustrations for weekly magazines and neewspapers (Libre Belgique‚ Sesame Street (USA)‚ Averbode press for children‚ La Libre Essentielle…) postcards for Amnisty International‚ CD’s jacket covers as well as book covers and advertising (Mitsubishi‚ Danone…) He has worked for several artists agencies (Artitude –Bruxelles‚ Illustrissimo –Paris…) Ah ! In addition to this David teaches illustration at St Luc Institute in Bruxelles.
