The Barons have a motto: « hang out more to live longer ». It’s the theory of Hassan and his friends‚ a gang of teens from the popular neighbourhood. They spend their days hanging out at the corner shop‚ only getting up to go sign on for unemployment benefit and waiting patiently until it’s their turn to drive the BMW that they bought together. Hassan is fed up with this life. He has a dream: to make people laugh. However for his father « being a joker » isn’t a job‚ being a bus driver with a pay cheque is a real job! In order to succeed‚ Hassan knows that he must leave the neighbourhood‚ but you don’t just leave you have to escape. In order to escape‚ you have to run and when you run‚ you’re no longer considered as a Baron. The novel of the movie (www.lesbarons–lefilm.com) – Entre Chien et Loup‚ 2009. Age: 15 and up
